Let me take a selfie

Hello bello!

Beware for this entry because it will flood with food porn, and I bet you will hate me after reading this. Sorry for that, but please continue reading until the end. Ok?

So, Bee and Jennifer together with Agnes came to KL for a 1-day trip, and we had a small gathering at MidValley yesterday. Well, suddenly plan always goes well with us, no kidding.

The plan will goes off automatically when we plan it in advance, and I mean most of the time. I guess this is just our tradition or simply just love to delay whatever in advance haha.

Opps! Did I mentioned Ting joined the gathering too? No? Ok, let me tell you some story behind. Last week, Jennifer, Agnes (Jen's sis) and I had planned to meet up at MidValley yesterday. On last Friday, upon discussion in our group, all agreed except Shin to meet up at MidValley the NEXT day. So sudden yet success one!

Bee was like ok! Buy for me bus ticket.

Our gathering is around 12pm, and tell you what I met my ex-colleague MJ there, so coincidence. I didn't see her since the day I resigned from the firm, so happy to meet her there. Besides that, I saw the guy behind the scene (her boyfriend in exact) hahahahaa!

Anyway, are you ready for food porn now? Yes or no? By the way, we went Sushi Zanmai for lunch after "shop" at Borders nearby. The only persons who really shop there is Jen and Agnes for their BRIM voucher. Lol!

Yeap! I'm blaming HAHAHA!

#foodpornisontheway

#1 Bee's Don.

Alright, let us take a selfie first.

I mean twice HAHAHAHA.

Sorry for my bad skill, coz I have no long hand and this is the reason I should get a Go Pro lol! *excuses*

Went Borders and saw this book.

This is a book talking about a 24 year old girl went 24 country within 257 days. OMG!

Ting was like I wonder how much she spent for the whole trip. LOL! Tomo always wanted to have self travel, but yet to accomplish due to certain circumstances such as parents' disagreement.

Ps: imma really hope Shin and Jen can follow us to Boracay next year. Please please please.

Continue our food porn LOL

#2 Edamame

My sis and I will never ever order this in any Sushi house but now I think is worth it eating with lots of people.

Very refreshing start up.

#3 Kofuko

#4 Jen's Udon and fried chicken

Ps: I'm too lazy to Google for the name.

"How to squeeze lemon on the oystel?"

The sisters are so cute, Jen was like squeze lah, then Agnes was like huh? How to sqeeze? I squeeze ah, I seriously squeeze ah. LOL!

Goddam cute, cannot tahan hahaha.

#5 Ting's Katsu Don

#6 semi-baked salmon sushi

This is soooo good.

#7 soft crab maki

#8 my Ten Don

My favourite but it is too dry after eating too much fried foods.

#9 prawn, avocado and chicken floss maki.

Pss: I googled some of the name for the type of sushi, but in the end I gave up because when I searched semi-baked salmon, it came out with keiko which mean whale. Lol! So much different!!

I felt so hungry after posting too much good food porn. Ok lah, I end with a picture that you guy can disgest smoothly after that.

HAHAHAHAHHA!

So do you feel digested or you want to puke? Lol!

The most success selfie was our Mong Ting, and I bet most of the runningman fans will know what I meant. She took quite long for that Mong (blur) look, and insist all of us to join her. Lol!

The rest of us just smile and chi-cak that's it!

Ps: I should go for hair cut before heading to Bangkok next 2 weeks. Started to feel happy already. AWESOME!

Ok end!

*I love sudden ending as well* lol

Meeting with the girls and GoPro

Hello!

Imma gonna blog about my outing with the girls and Miki mommy awwwww..

We planned this outing since months ago, and we finally met each other after 3 months yo.

Three of us were so excited to meet Miki and yes she is pregnant now. Omg! I'm gonna be aunty after her baby born. Sound so old.. *heart break but so excited still* LOL!

Well, Shinyi was the late comer of the day, and surprisingly I'm second earliest hahaha! Nope! I'm not that late every outing emmm... *guilty*

So, late comer not allow to selfie with us for the time being hahaha!

Ps: we sent this picture to the group and she seriously "flew over" to meet us in 8mins I guess.

Hard to decide what to order, and big head and I were like hey! What you wanna order? This or that? Oh noo... cannot decide lah!!!

I ordered this healthy Dragon Fruit smoothie and I meant it when I said healthy. Too sweet and WEIRD! *dislike*

Before the gathering, I told them to bring their newly bought camera, and I was totally gone crazy after seeing it.

I WANT TO BUY BOTH OF THEIR CAMERA LAHHHH!

Big head's Go Pro Hero 3

I seriously gone crazy after seeing this, and I thought this was like very expensive camera, but is not! Is affordable for most people, and is water proof.

Really cannot stop thinking about this, coz I'm going Boracay next year and this is really a good cam to under water. Oh no...

And the thing is, it is super small. Only size of one palm.

 Go pro shoot #1

And where is Miki mommy? Lol

 Go pro shoot #2

Miki mommy is here!

 Go pro shoot #3

Outside the Food Avenue Aeon. Haha! All of us so crazy, playing with the GoPro cam right in the middle of Aeon.

Listen to what the baby is talking, and he say HI to us with his little kicking in the tummy. Awwwwww So cute lah..

Three of us touched the tummy, and I was really excited because the tummy is hard, and someone is kicking his mommy yo!

Ps: probably he just don't want us to touch his mommy tummy.

 GoPro shoot #4

Selfie before Shinyi going back home, and we ended our outing after that.

Gonna miss them a lot, but we gonna meet each other again before Miki mommy deliver yo! *excited*

Ps: can't wait the baby to born now lol
Pss: I yet to get the photo from Shinyi's Fujifilm cam, so no example. Her cam also dam good, the colour and I love the fact that the shutter speed was quite fast. Awwww... dilemma!

Marathon and we did it!

Hello!

Good morning world.

Friday the 13th is a past tense and let's look forward for today. By the way, I was quite lucky yesterday, and I pass my exam yo. Goddam happy you know, worried for almost one month plus and others keep asking when my result out. Stressful you know?

Well, I think I'm out of topic, so let's start the marathon things. Planned to run this marathon when Jennifer asked me last two months, and I was like I can run meh? Don't want lah... sure the slowest one. You all go lah. Can meh? Can meh? Then half willing and unwilling I registered myself as a rumner for fun run 5km. My sis join the run as well, and to be honest, I think my sis can run coz she is much thinner and shorter and more stamina than me. I'm like a total fatty and less stamina and seriously can't run lah. So tough ok?

Anyway, registred means I'm seriously in this game, and I'm gonna train my stamina tho only 5km. Train myself few weeks before the marathon, and my sis and I went swimming quite frequently compared to last time though she train more than me. Lol. I'm so lazy after work.

Last Sunday was the marathon, and I'm seriously dam nervous, coz I don't train myself well at that point, and not know how long is 5km. Drive takes 5mins means we run also very long leh.

Woke up around 6am, and prepared myself for this event, Ting was late, and Bee totally MIA. Lol.

Jen, Agnes (her naughty sis haha), sis and me were ready for this most of the time.

Starting point was quite stable, and I can run more than I have expected, not bad wey.

Ending point after I finished omg! I'm seriously did it.

We did it within one hour. For those who run often, sure think this is just piece of cake, but seriously a tough one for me.

And Pravin is the best among us,around 35mins complete the run. My sis ran within 45 min and I'm 50mins. Not bad right?
 Selfie with our medal

And more selfie with the late comer, Ting lol. She doesn't run after that, wasted.
Our medal for Melaka River International Marathon 8 June 2014.

One of the sponsored is Mamee and few sponsored from others.

I've never know I can run that far and long, and is like unbelievable. Next round should standard charter marathon year end. Go go go! Sis and Jen are going for the Enerhizer night run this coming Aug and I couldn't because of work. No time train ok? Lol.

I did it! #100HappyDays

Sponsored post: A day in Mamee Factory with Malaysian bloggers

“Are you interested in joining the Mamee chef factory on Saturday?”

Received call from Nuffnang office last Thursday, and I am glad that I had the chance to join the EVENT with all the Malaysian bloggers to Mamee Chef Factory at my hometown Malacca.

Although I knew Mamee was founded in my hometown long ago (probably when I am 13 or 14 years old), but I have never step in to this factory UNTIL YESTERDAY. Thus, this is kind a great opportunity for me to explore more on the whole factory. Awesome!!!!

“SORRY EVERYONE THIS IS MINE!!!’’

We reached around 11.15am, and joining the group immediately to their Mamee Factory. Before making all the visiting, they gave us some briefing on how Mamee was founded in 1971, and their brand new Mamee Chef Mee Tarik or Ramen in Chinese.
She explained  how Mamee factory was born, and show video regarding the old factory in 1971.

They served Lite Yo Nutrigen before the briefing, and I was like is this their product? (Sorry for being so less informative before going the trip). I have never known that Mamee factory actually produce Nutrigen, Double Decker, Mister Potato and etc. All of them are my childhood love, and remember how happy when I have collected enough money to buy a packet of RM0.20 Mamee Monster snack.

Do you remember?

They have variety of products from drink to snack to instant noodle; I was glad that I have attended the event and learn a lot from the visit.

Do you know that they have now produced the new brand MAMEE CHEF MEE TARIK???

They invited their chef from China to present the way of Tarik or pull the Ramen, and the more she Tarik the noodles, the more the tender the noodle be. Sound interesting huh? She pulls the ramen, and then bounces it, then pulls again, over and over again.

Until it becomes to tender and bouncy... She proudly presents her Mee Tarik to us.

After the China chef, it is their “little chef” SHOW TIME babe!! She cooked the tomyam paste, and everyone was like wow! It smells really goddam nice! You wanna be the master chef, buy Mamee Chef Mee Tarik and I bet you can be one once you cook it.

The whole room is full of the aroma, and seriously goddam good!

The secret ingredients reveal.
If you wanna cook it, this is it, the secret ingredient of the paste, but listens to me, just go any shopping mall and grab Mamee Chef Mee Tarik, and you can be master chef already.
Easy and save time! The Z generation style!

The paste is getting brighter once it has cooled down awhile, and it makes everyone drool. Comparing the before and after cooling.

It looks different but tasted the same.

OMG!!!  Drooling already cannot resist!!!

Sandwiches and Melaka infamous one- one (read as o-ne o-ne). Refreshment was given to us while listening to the briefing. I heard the o-ne o-ne is nice, but I didn’t have it because I was waiting for mouth-watering lunch. LOL!

Anyway, after the refreshment, we grouped into colours, and headed to the factory when the group leader called.

Making fun the decoration they provided and all of us was like so crazy on this super-big-spec.
I was super excited!!

Selfie and photoboomed by blogger mommy with her kids!
So much fun with the bloggers, and all of them was freaking friendly and talkative.

Selfie with Jennifer while listening to the briefing yo!!!! Both of us were so excited to be there, glad being invited.

Alright! Now is time to go into the factory!!!

Being led by the group leader and their staff to their factory, and at first I thought it will be like those normal factory whereby everyone were requested to wear some clothes on, but it is cool that we didn’t need to, because we were like watching from the top!!

OMG! Clean and air-condition!!!!!! Can you believe it?????

Yo! I am right inside the factory watching them produce my favourite childhood snack!!! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT????????

The factory is very clean and there are several sections whereby the Mamee noodles and snacks were produced.
From mixing the flour to frying to packaging was all shown inside the mirror, and we basically standing here looking at the process one-by-one from mixing the flour. And trust, it is super clean!!!!!

This was the mixing process whereby they put the flour and mixed it using the machine.

Steaming station whereby all the raw material being steam up!

The cup noodle being shaped, and are ready go to into the frying session.

After frying, the workers were doing quality checking and look! All the low quality was taken out, how wish I can go in and grab everything!!!!

They served lunch after the factory visit, and you know what they served everything from Mamee such as Cheers, cake, satay and Malacca specialty Chicken Rice Ball from their Mamee Jonker House where we were going NEXT!!!

Chicken Rice Ball and Satay from Mamee Jonker House
The rice ball is superb, and the chicken is very tender and I love their chili the most.  Besides that, the satay is goddam delicious, and I love their satay paste as well.

Green Tea cake from Mamee Jonker House
And my favourite black forest cake from Mamee Jonker House!
I love it the most of all, it is sooooo chocolaty, and so goddam soft. I really can eat non-stop for this every day.

Goodies bag given to the bloggers

Met blogger, Fiona from Malacca, let’s us take a selfie!
