Finally, I’ve the chance to blog about the long-awaited
Singapore trip with Shin few months ago! It’s has been awhile since the last
real trip with friends, so this is it choosing Singapore because it near to
Malaysia, and it is cheaper for us.
We are poor graduated student back then! Everything should within
budget, from hotel, places to visit to food.
So yeap! We are under budget anyway, congratulation!!! MUAHAHA!!!
Woke up early in the morning to take a ride to Bugis, Singapore. And we walked all the way to the nearest MRT to Clark Quay to our budgeted hostel.
The journey begin after we checked in, and honestly the hostel wasn't that good, but we are good with it since the toilet is very clean.
We walked around to the shopping center opposite our hostel, and the MRT tunnel is linked with those shopping center if I'm not mistaken. However, sorry if I'm wrong, no offence Singaporean. I'm seriously don't have a good sense of direction!
Logo from the shopping center.
Just opposite our Hostel!
We decided to go China Town since we arrived around 2pm, and most of the tourist places are hanging right now.
China town will be the best choice!
The ice-cream stall I miss so much, and I told Shin I must eat this before going back.
Is actually very normal for most of the people out there, but for me it is very special and delicious, and you see how thick it is!! Only S$2!!! SO CHEAP!!
China Town from top!
Indian Temple along the road
Shin wanted to visit the biggest Buddhist temple in Singapore at Sago Street. I went there with temple members years ago, and you know what I forgot where the place is. Blame my sense of direction, please!
"Uncle (Everyone is uncle/aunty in Asia, LOL), where is the biggest temple in Singapore, the very nice place?"
"HUH? What temple? There is no temple in ChinaTown"
I totally stun, and Shin looked at me doubtfully.
"
Uncle, are you sure?"
"No temple here but Buddhist temple yes!" say very loudly until others look at us. OMG!
"I think is that one, then where is it?' I said it embarrassingly.
"Haiyo! Temple is temple! Buddhist temple is different! DIFFERENT!!!!"
Then both of us walked away, and laughed so loud like no one. Sorry uncle!
So the Buddhist temple is located at Sago Street, and it is very huge!
Buddha Tooth Relic Temple and Museum
The Buddha Tooth Relic Temple and Museum is a Buddhist temple and museum complex located in the Chinatown district ofSingapore.
"The temple is based on the Tang dynasty architectural style and built to house the tooth relic of the historical Buddha. The ground breaking ceremony was conducted on 13 March 2005. Costing S$62 million and 2 years later, a soft launch was held to coincide with the 2007 Vesak Day celebration."[2] It is claimed that the relic of Buddha from which it gains its name was found in 1980 in a collapsed stupa in Myanmar.[3]
Since opening, the temple has become a popular attraction within Chinatown. Simple vegetarian fare is served in the basement of the temple, though donations are accepted.

And this is the real one taken from opposite!
Selca with this building, and we'd mastered the way of Selca with this whole building. LOL!
The stalls beside the temple, and guess what, Shin helped to buy some postcard for our lovely Jennifer! HAHAHAHA!
Camwhoring again with the street!
The guy that drew this beautiful picture, so nice and talented!
ChinaTown from top! Spot lots of people walking around.
The behind look of the temple! LOL! So nice right?
Then, both of us got so tired, and we decided to have some drinks at the hawker stall, and the place super cheap! Singapore is the cleanest place ever!!
No littering in Singapore is the only thing I learned!
Went MRT ride to Jurong to visit Shin's sister!
MRT & LRT System Map
Both of us selca in MRT station! I love their MRT & LRT station so much, coz is very cozy and comfortable in here. The main point is very
SAFE!
Arrived at Jurong, and have dinner with them which I felt uncomfortable with because Shin's sister treat me this!!! So nice of her.
Then we went back after our dinner, and end of first day in Singapore. So tired yet feeling awesome for the first day.
"Find the mistake"
Can you find the mistake? Yes or no?
So coincidentally we wore the same club t-shirt that day. We didn't plan, just coincidentally!
Coincidental ok?
Well, stop here and come back for more Singapore trip blog post LOL!
