My 21st birthday party!

I’ve waited for so long to post this entry like N-weeks, but due to examination, assignment and presentation, I tend to forget about it, and never continue the writing at here. Sorry peeps! And I’ve been so freaking busy for like 10 week NON-STOP, and there is still one examination waiting for me to settle. So, this would be a photo blog post to ease you from reading!

So, before 2012, I should publish this and end my 2011 blog post.

My birthday party was on the 10 of December, and as you people knew that ma birthday was on the 17th, that is just an earlier celebration because my parents were going to China on my birthday T____T

First, this party has been sponsored and prepared by my sis, and I really appreciate her effort on setting up the venue, decorating with balloon (with my family because I was having exam that day) in my house and serving some of her friends who have attended the party.

My family were so great to help to decorate, thank to my always ♥ family members!

I was telling my cousin behind regarding to the camwhore skill, and he told me that the photo will be so damn ugly if we camwhore with a DSLR, so I tried!!! The outcome was NOT THAT BAD ok?

And he was like wow! your head so freaking BIG!! Nice meh? *heart broken*

The party started around 7.30pm, and most of my friends were still on their way to attend my party =___=

(I was worried that time, because not much people are able to attend the other day)

The both kids behind (the little girl and boy) was my neighbour kids, and both of them was so cute. They don't even scare the bully gang!!

Yes! My party was a buffer style, and we ordered the catering from 海洋 (Hai Yang). The food was not quite bad. However, I was not satisfied on their fried longan prawn, and it is kind of weird combination.

And before the singing session, the bully gang had warned me to be careful on them, coz they will push my head into the cake! I was so damn worried, and you know what they did?

They insist me to take out the candle from my precious key-like cake. And my aunty was worried that the cake will be destroy by them. Relax! They would not ruin my cake in front of my family....so phew!!

I had successfully took out the candle with my mouth!!!

And if you think that the end, you are probably not a creative person, BECAUSE....

They had planned something else!

After all the birthday "procedure" had been done, I heard happy birthday to you...happy birthday to you from the bully gang, and one word pop out from my mind was OMG! I'm gonna get it tonight!

Yes! A creamy moutain "cake" which made of just CREAM!

They brought this to my house, and kept it in my refrigerator with my mom permission (yet my mom doesn't know what is going on). They were singing and recording happily with this super creamy cake!

I was so damn worried, but I know I can't get out from this since they had planned it...so....

I've no choice!!

And get my face on to the cream, and 6 of them just POP! Yes! Included my sis bf =___=

Just a few seconds, my face turn into a cream cake, and the the first thing I thought of was the cream is so freaking sweet! Yucky! And I was happily playing the cream with my cousins, and they were so damn scare of me. *evil laugh*

I'm a bad big sister!!!

Then they gave me 7 packets of ang pau with precious words!!

I was trying to do the matching, and after i've done it....

17-12-2011 Raining day!

I’m officially 21st, and today is my legal age to go in casino!!

It is my 21st birthday today, and I’m celebrating alone is my cozy house, too bad (my mom and dad were in China right now, and sis and bro were busy with their work), but anyway I still get to celebrate my birthday last week. (I'll update that real soon)

My cousin thought my birthday has passed since last week, LOL!! You are not a good cousin I must say =)

Wow! I’m officially 21st right now, right here, right at my bed! Just think of last year when everyone was telling me that I will be the last one to get the right to go in Genting casino (among my friends), and I was like I will never go that place (just to show that I don’t care LOL), and now I’ve the right to go in casino!! How great is that! Me, Lydia got to go in casino!! I’m an adult right now!!!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME and THANK TO EVERYONE AROUND ME WHO GIVE THE SUPPORT ALWAYS, especially my family members!!

Food adventure- Tea Milk in the town!

Its food adventure again

Has not been updating about food these days, because I’m having exam, and no outing for the rest of the weeks, so conclusion, I didn’t even have time to hang out and have a proper lunch or dinner with them T_____________T all thank to the busy life of mine!

Alright! This is a place where we had discovered in Facebook when others are sharing about it. As a food lover, we wouldn’t miss any chance of tasting. Thus, a big search for it!!!!

Tea milk is a newly open milk tea shop at Dataran Pahlawan which located right besides Over Time. We went there when Ting had come back to Melaka last month (yes! Last month! I’m freaking busy, so have no time to update, sorry!)

As you can see, this shop is super new in Dataran Pahlawan, and the place was quite well decorated. High technology!!! Because they use a machine to shake the milk instead of using hand!!!! How cool is that!!! (the photo of the machine was quite blurry, so I don't want to embarass myself)

Way to have a Natural, Tasty and Refreshing milk tea! You can choose the sugar level as well as the topping! How great is that!?

They have many varieties of flavor as well as topping, and note that additional topping is charge!!!

Yes! We got our drink, and I felt so sorry to the new worker there, because I accidently ruined his day. He was new there, and I made him felt even nervous when prepare the drink! Sorry....it's my bad!!

And Jennifer, Ting and Viki said that I've ruined his job....

It super duper sweet for everyone of us. I didn't like the taste of this drink because its taste super sweet, it was as if I'm drinking sugar water!

Well, it has a nice name, but basically it is just normal chocolate milk tea with pearl!

Not big WOW again! Sorry for that!!

This is the best among ours order, it taste special with the caramel pudding. I love it so much!!!

Overall, all the drinks are too sweet for us aspecially the Blueberry milk tea!!

Busy life never end

I’ll be freaking busy for the coming week and the week after, and this is the reason why I did not update my blog for a couple of weeks. Sorry peeps!

Well, I’ve done lots of gathering last month and yet to blog about it *no time to blog even I’m free =(* Therefore, I should blog it in the bright new day with 2 persons (my sis and her bf) sleeping on the bed soundly, MUAHAHA.. (I’m in a dark to blog this, so should be appreciated =P)

Now is around 10am, but my sis still sleeping soundly OMG!!! I should wake her up after I finish blog this.

Ok! Back to the main topic!

The very first gathering of the month is the long-time-no-see PM1516 gathering, but ended up…celebrating one of our friend birthday. Anyway, I really miss the days when we smile, laugh and work hard together, it’s fun!!

Miss PM1516 and we’ll meet real soon. (you’ll know it later)

2nd gathering will be ting’s gathering, and yes she came back for midterm break. We went for dinner and tea milk (located at Dahtaran Pahlawan) together, and gossip time will never end as I always said so. She will be back again on Chinese New Year, too bad... We'll never meet until CNY!

3rd gathering will be FAMILY GATHERING which I always looking forward to it, coz I always love the two naughty boys in the house!

He been so busy "helping" my aunt baking cake for us, yes I mean "helping"

Aunt baked a fake pizza as our lunch of the day

and I decorated with some coriander for the purpose of snapping a good photo ==lll (it did not match properly with coriander herb!) I love coriander, but it is not a good combination!

And the creative Jun Jie and Jun Sheng decorated it with snack! It is cruchy outside and soft inside, weird combination too!

The day when Ting returned back to Melaka again (she went to KL after our gathering above)

I went to a relative wedding dinner with my family, and I love the way they present the flower, but the food was suck! It is the worst wedding dinner food I had eaten in my entire life. Oh yea! Not to forget, I drank half cup of red wine the other day, and my face turn red after that (it's so embarrassing)

They use the real rose petals to decorate the entire place, madly nice!

It would the best if they use pink roses!! MUAHAHAHA....

I rushed to meet them after the wedding dinner, and I've lots of fun with them. *no photo coz we were too busy talking with each other, and I forget to snap the photo of our souvenir from Viki, Too Bad*

PS:Yes! I finally done with one post, and my sis still sleeping soundly in the bed ==llll

Food adventure - Alai Ikan Bakar

Hey people!

Many weeks ago, my bro suddenly has the intention to treat Ikan bakar as our dinner, and we’d drove all the way to Alai for that meal. And I always remembered when I was young, my uncle used to drive us all the way from Melaka town to Alai for the delicious ikan bakar, and it is usually our supper when he came back from Puchong. In the older days, the place was quite dark and dirty, and the mud was really freaking me out.

But now, the environment has changed. We got shocked (I felt nothing because I went there with my friend before, and not knowing this is the place where I came often in my younger days) when we arrived, because it’s usually muddy all over the place, and now they had built up the building, and redecorate it with concrete. Good job done for several years.

The stall was packed with hundred of people the other day, and some of the waitress was quite confuse on the orders.

Well, nasi lemak is a must when come to Ikan Bakar stall. I think it is a tradition, because everyone will order a basket of nasi lemak first, then only for the rest!

Then, Otak-otak is the second must come to Alai Ikan Bakar, because their otak-otak is the best among others stall.

Don't believe?

See this! it is yellow in colour! According to my aunty, the yellow otak-otak is the real otak without colouring, beware of those with red meat, because they contain FOOD COLOURING which will harm our body!

The ikan bakar, the fish is so fresh and tender, and there is a techniques to eat this ikan bakar which taught by my aunty. In order not to eat the charcoal part (which means the baked part with the black skin), do not turn the fish, you may just get the flesh by pulling out the bone and get the flesh. REMEMBER: DO NOT TURN THE FISH, so you wouldn’t get to eat the charcoal part.

And you may dip your fish with this sauce! The sauce kinda like sour and spicy at the same time, it is really a BOOM!

Sotong goring (Fried squid) RM 7.00

This fried squid is the cheapest among those ikan bakar stall I tasted before. It is so crispy and tender inside, and the amount of squid is huge! Best deal ever. And this is a MUST for our family because sis's bf love it the most! =___=lll

Ikan goreng bodoh-bodoh, in other words when you'd eaten this fried fish, you'll be as stupid as the fish (Nah! Ya right!? there is a story behind)

When I went to this stall with my aunty, she ordered the ikan goreng bodoh-bodoh, and I was like Huh? Ikan goreng bodoh-bodoh? What's that? then the boss who was taking the order looked and warned me not to take it, because if I eat it, I'll be as stupid as the fish. *laughing non-stop with the boss*

The boss is super friendly, I must say!

Sweet sauce Bamboo clam

We'd ordered the kunyit bamboo clam, and this is what they sent to us *sweat*, but then it is okay for our family since the boss is so friendly to us.

Basically the taste was quite ordinary, no big WOW from me. Sorry!

Kunyit Scallop RM 32.00

Alright! This is the wrong order again, they have confused on the orders. We ordered scallop with sweet sauce and end up they gave us kunyit flavor, and the taste was terrible. I like kunyit, but this is way too much! Sorry to say that this is a failure!

Overall, the foods were very fresh, but the scallop was the failure. However, I still thumb up to their foods and services compared to others ikan bakar stall.

I was going to give up on the application for the internship which I’d interviewed last few weeks, but then something miracle happened! You can never give up anything in your life!

I’d an offer from that company, and it is quite a big company! Congratulation to myself…

Miracle happened when I’m rushing for my Advance Taxation class, and it is in a sunny day. While I was listening to the lecture, someone rang me!

Me: Hello *almost whispering*
The person on the other side: Hello, can I speak to Kang XX (which is my name)?? *super soft spoken voice*
Me: Can you hold on for a moment *whispering*
HR Manager: Hello, sorry for disturbing you, we are here offering you the internship, would you like to accept??
Me: *shocking* you mean I GET THE OFFER FOR INTERNSHIP?
HR manager: Yes! We are offering you, so would you like to accept?
Me: *still shocking and do not what to response* Can I response you by 2pm? Coz I’m….mmm…. lecture class….. So….can I?
HR manager: alright! We need to settle by today.
Me: Ok!

Well, I’m still in a shocking mood right now, and wondering why they choose me as their internship. I felt so grateful after they had offered me a job!

This is my lunch on the other day when I went for interview, and yes I felt so lucky after accept the phone call from the company, thank GOD! I get an OFFER!

Anyway, this is XO Fried Fish head noodle with milk (XO 炸鱼头米粉)! The famous dish in Cheras, Selangor. it located at at Jalan Manis 7, Cheras, and the location was quite weird as the place was in a small tunnel (lorong) of a flat building, and many people stayed at the flat. I saw many children playing around in that place, and surprisingly I saw a mini market just located at there with a little boy as helper.

It is quite an odd place!

I'm STRESS!!

I'M FREAKING STRESS!!

My life is packed with tons of works to do, and this is one of the reasons I’m not able to blog properly like I always do in previous years. I realized that my blog is getting bored, and I always find something to blog, ended up closing off the site and back to my bed.

Well....
Let me be grumpy for a moment.
Five things that make my mood go down down down this week

1 I’ve been busy for a week with tons of classes to attend (all thank to the public holiday we’d enjoyed for the past few weeks), club meeting (causes my pity red “deer” fall sick after 4 hours of light burning) and gathering (oklah, this is exception). Those have cause me not to go home early every day *grumpy*, and I felt that I don’t even have time to breath! I need some fresh air!!!!!!

2 As you know my red “deer” has fall a sick on last Wednesday, my nightmare ever! Due to tiredness, I end up hurting my red “deer” , and again thank for the help from Wang and Jennifer.

3 I DON’T GET ANY INTERNSHIP OFFER! Oh damn!! I’m super stress here, because for the time being, almost everyone getting their internship offer, and I’m the only one who left out! The main reason I felt sad is that WHY YOU GUYS GIVE ME SO MUCH STRESS!?????????????? WHY KEEP REPEATING THE INTERNSHIP THINGS??? WHY ASKING ME?? WHY???? I know you guys are caring and sweet, but to be frank whenever I heard about INTERNSHIP, I felt sad, and I wanted to cry out yet I’m not able to cry out!!! You know how suffer is that?? I tried not to listen everything about it, but I just can’t, get what I mean? DO NOT ASK ME AGAIN!!!

4 Oh right! I’m super stubborn not to listen any advice, and end up waiting alone. YES! That is KARMA! Laugh everyone!! LAUGH AT ME!

5 Assignment is going to be due! *shouting in the room with four walls* WHY time flies so fast??? WHY?

Alright, done with 5 things that I felt down, now do you ever feel that you wanna cry, but you can’t cry? I felt so in my previous days….

Stop to be emotional, and back to my normal life…. Five things that make me look forward!

1 Gathering with tomodachi on Sunday night. I’m always looking forward for tomo gathering, and yes, Ting is here again.

2 Wedding dinner on Saturday! HURRAY!! I’ve not attending any wedding dinner since my uncle wedding.

3 Internship offer (pray for me) T___________T

4 Done all my assignment and off to Chinese New Year

5 Penang Trip with THEM on February!!!! The happiest thing ever!!!!!

I felt better after writing out my feeling, is great to have a blog and express out loud!!
I’m DONE!! Pray for me to get an internship offer, and I really appreciate.

PS: Kenneth has consoled me that I’ll get the offer, and I told him that it is impossible for me to get any offer since I’m so late right now, but anyway thank for the console. Congratz to him, because he get the offer, and I’m a failure!!

Food adventure- Famous Klang Mee Hon Kueh

Mee Hon Kueh is basically a Hokkien delicacy which means Rice flour (Mee Hon) handmade noodle and the kueh mean cake (because it looks like a thin layer of cake). Mee hon Kuih is one of my favourite hokkien delicacy, and my mom love to cook it as our lunch.

Fatty Mee Hon Kuih house is very famous in Berkerly garden, Klang, and it has been featured in “ho chiak” TV show as well. However, before it has been featured in Ho Chiak, my mom has told me before, and planned for years to bring us there yet plan always failed.

Years of waiting, i finally got to taste it myself, and sis is the one who brought me there. Hurray!

I personally think that there is no different between the large and extra large, and the small is more than enough for lady. =)

I love crispy fried Ikan Bilis, and this has been fried perfectly! I personally think that their Mee Hon Kueh is those I like the most, it is thin and chewy at the same time. It is in a perfect thickness for me!

Food adventure - snowflake 雪花栈

Well. I know I'm quite outdated to try this, and my sis has been telling me about the Snowflake shop at SS15, Subang Jaya months ago, and we have finally decided to pay a visit on that when I went to Selangor for my interview. In order to “survive” in such a HOT day, a cold dessert will do.

The owner Jimmy was originated from Tai Chung, Taiwan, and he has tasted many kinds of traditional Taiwan dessert made by his grandma, and his mom used to cook some for him by using their very own homegrown recipe, so he learned the entire secret recipe and so this is how snowflake appeared! (There are many more stories behind…. You may read it in their shop if you like it, TEEHEE!)

Snowflake serves all Taiwan traditional dessert, their signature dessert will be the ………

Alright..

Before that, this is their infamous beeping UFO which my friend had created a story on it. The story: Before the day I went to try Snowflake, my friends (true friend will lie sometime, *evil laugh*) said that the UFO would fly, if we didn’t able to pick up our dessert on time. SUPER LIAR, but I was not that stupid to believe such nonsense, it doesn’t fly, but BEEPING all the time.

PS: Snowflake should invent something that my friends had created, that's would be cool, if in reality!

We were being confuse on the fresh milk given, because 4 of us was like hey! where should we put this milk at? The red bean or the tara ball? We were wondering until I saw somebody at the other table pour into their Taro Ball dessert, and we followed of coz!

Yes! pour as much as you like!

I'm sure some of you might think that what the hell is TARO BALL, Taro Ball is their secret recipe of Yam and Sweet potato ball, it is called as Yu yuan 芋圆 in chinese. Basically the taste was quite nice and it tastes just like yam and sweet potato, and it is so chewy which I heart the most. However, my sis doen't like the chewiness of the Taro Ball that much. She heart their Red Bean more than Best Seller! Too bad...

I must say Different people have different taste!

OMG! OMG! OMG!

My car broke down in school just now!!!!!

I went to school for some event recruitment interview around 7pm, and I was rushing to the class and yet to off my car light. After all the recruitment process, discussion…. And I went back to my car with Jennifer.

We were happily chit-chatting and move ourselves to the car, and I was bye-ing with her while she was in her car. She drove off after that, and I was relaxing toward my car.

I open my car door; close it immediately, and then I started my car!

NO SOUND AT ALL!!!!!!!!

I tried and tried for a few times, but still

I immediately contacted my mom for help, and she was panic and try to call for help from my bro which is in the middle of fetching his friend home.
Then, without any hesitate, I tried my luck to call back Jennifer, so that she will come and rescue me immediately, and my luck wasn't that bad, she was in her way back to school again!!! Thank God! But the problem is she doesn’t have that equipment to charge back my car battery!! What now!??
I was panic and keep on calling my mom for nothing….

All in a sudden, someone just popped in my mind to rescue me, guess who is it?

YES!! My rescuer WANG!!

The moment I called him I was like WANG! HELP ME!! HELP ME!! I didn’t even able to describe what is happening in that situation. I was panic, sweating and almost cry!!

Jennifer grabbed my phone, and explained the whole situation to him. As Jennifer off the phone, I started to annoy her again and again. I felt so sorry after annoyed her for so long, and she is so kind to console me again and again without making any grumpy move. Thank a lot. You are my rescuer always!

Few minutes later, another rescuer arrived! I was like THANK GOD! WANG IS ARRIVED! He took out the equipment for battery charging, and plug the positive and negative thingy (I don’t really understand how it works actually, and I don’t even know how to open the front bonnet of the car, seriously!!! I’m totally a loser for car equipment; I know I should learn from now on. Well, never mind to know it!), and he went to my car and started the engine, and it works!

How awesome is that, but the moment he said the car will off again when I MATI ENGINE while I was driving. I got frighten again! T__________T

However, I still managed to drive back home without any problem.

Finally, I’m safe in HOME right now!!

Super big thanks to both of my rescuer Jennifer and Wang who help me whenever I’m in trouble today. True friend will never leave you whenever you are in a trouble, and I’ll never forget what they had helped me today. I really appreciate!!

Lesson learned for today: Off car light before come out from car, and learn to open the car’s front bonnet without any others help, and last but not least explain anything in detail CLEARLY without any misleading fact.

PS: sorry to my bro’s friend for some misleading situation.
Don’t happen again the next time!!!

I bet most of you had dressed up and gone to the Halloween party yesterday, and yes, myself has no intention on celebrating this festival as everyone around me has not interest on this! Too bad....

Oh yeah, I saw a bunch of people dressing awfully or I should said scarily in Dataran pahlawan, and

I was frighten by one of the zombie that walked by. I was like hiding behind my sis and looking at him steadily so that he wouldn't attack me (how childish I am). All of the sudden I saw a little cameraman holding a camera, then that make me relief.

Why can't they dress up like Harry Potter or like....

It’s foodies Friday again!

Yes, I’ve been in Selangor last few days, and I’ve tried many good foods, so now I’m going to introduce FOOD for every foodies in the world (probably just Malaysian)

Alright, stop crap and start!

This probably will be my lunch if I’m still in Subang right now, and it makes me feel heaven. Guess what?

Yes! It is the famous Restaurant Kar heong 家香（怡保）炒河粉芽菜鸡! According to my sis, it is very famous in that area which is Subang, and honestly I’ve tried before when I was young.

Their signiture dish will be the Ipoh Hor Fan!! It has many variety of Hor Fan such as Prawn wantan Hor Fan, Chicken Hor Fan and double Prawn Hor Fan. Mine will be the prawn wantan Hor Fan (RM5.00)

Besides that, they also offer some side dishes such as fried Nga Choi aka bean sprout. It is their favourite side dish, and it taste so yum.

They were very generous as you can see the amount of prawn wantan given.

Their Prawn wantan is super big and fresh. I love the wantan as it is smooth and not to sodden.

Yo!

It's tea time again which mean it is dessert time.

I was moody the other day when my result is about to release, and out of a sudden my sis brought back a huge happiness to me, which make me gone happy after that. Well, it is dessert anyway!

She was telling me about this for like 3 months and I’m yet to try it by myself, so her bf’s mom bought this for us as a gift (visiting gift, I guess!), and both of them (my sis and her bf) was like hey! You must try this, and this is million times nicer than nadeje. Then I was like you always said that ok??

Well, not to delay anytime, let's me show you....

This is the Hokkaido cake I'm saying from the start! To be frank, I tried this kind of cake in Melaka which I posted in here, but the taste was totally different. This is much better than that, I must say!! And the cream inside was not as sweet as what I've eaten before. It tastes like strawberry yogurt!! Mad yum...

And they used this pink lacey box to decorate it. This is mad cute!

PS: Their cream is the best, not too greasy as what we always ate, I like the taste of their cream so much!

My sis, her bf and I went to this shop yesterday, and for some reason we have porridge for our lunch. So, this is the best choice we ever made!

Their old fashion Menu on the wall. They have actually moved to here few years back, and according to my mom their signiture dish is their Hong Kong Porridge (香港艇仔粥), so this is the first choice for me!

PS: My mom brought us to their old place when we were young, but I didn't even remember at all! Too bad.

The prawn was so damn fresh and sweet, and they are super generous. I've 2 prawns in one wantan! Yummy!

Their ordinary yet not-so-ordinary chicken rice chili sauce! I love it.

Summary of August and September

I’m back!!

Yes, I’ve not been properly updating my blog for like 2 months!!!! So this would be the SUMMARY of August and September. Beware!!! This will be a super long post ever in my blog.

Well, there have been lots of festival celebration goes on and on August and September, but due to exam, I didn’t update on time. Sorry!!!

On Hari Raya days, I went to Selangor to gather with my uncles, aunties and cousins, and we (the freaking childish dude) play the plasticine with my cousins after we reached there. It was a birthday present for my cousin, but end up we are the one who play it nicely! They ruined it after that; the entire colour has been combined!!

To be frank, I’ve never play this kind of plasticine before. In my childhood, there is no burger maker plasticine, so this is kind of like dream comes true!!

"WOW!! This is the french fried maker, wow! My dream come true.."
My sis and I were so excited, and the reason why she bought this for my cousin is because SHE WANT HER DREAM TO COME TRUE! (me too)

Do you want a set of burger ~~king~~ ?? I used the wrong colour for the hot dog, I'm colour blind I know!!

Two kids were so excited too, but in the end ( As I mentioned) the colour was mixed up! Too bad!!

After we settled down, is dinner time and we went to a Restaurant near the famous Rong ji bread and tart bakery. Somewhere at Puchong. Too bad I forgot the name coz it is 2 months back!

I always complaint to my sis that we have not take photo together like months, so she quickly pose up and SNAP! Then after a minute she turns to be another freaking busy sms woman *argh*

The famous Rong Ji egg tart!
While waiting for place to sit, we went to Rong Ji to get some egg tart before headed to the restaurant. The taste was yum, and it was crispy outside and soft in the middle. NICE! The place was quite nice as well, and their cake is just like yeast bakery (square in size). So cute!

Steam egg is a must for our family.

It is so smooth that we didn’t even need to bite it, and I just swallow... (I’m way too hungry as you can see!)

I forgot the name coz I DON'T LIKE TO EAT THIS! Basically it is three-layer pork with yam, and I just ate their yam and left the rest for my daddy!

This is my all-time favourite, sweet sour pork, and it is a must for our family too. However, we mostly ordered as yam ring sweet sour pork in Melaka.

She is a malaysian-korean mix, and she speaks good korea language! How cool is that!? If I'm a Malaysian-Korean mix, I'll show off to everyone that I speak good korea language! MUAHAHA... *dream will never come true*

Yo.. I finally have the chance to taste it, but I don't really like Bah Kut Teh that much actually, coz it is a waste for me to eat it. I don't like their pork as it is too hard, and mostly Bah Kut Teh only serve PORK!!!*cry*

However, I like pork internal part and their dry Bah Kut Teh!

Next, the whole family (around 15 people) went to supermarket to hunt for ingrdient!

This trip was the best because the entire family gather together (except 1st uncle who is not free always).

End of August and proceed to September!!

Now, it is September, and the most important festival of the year-moon cake festival. We have planned this for so long, and end up having birthday celebration for our friend, Andrew.

Taiwan sausages is my love, but not for Shin coz she said it is way too sweet for her. *what to do, healthy baby*

We planned to have potluck at first, then change to BBQ....end up having our love Home-made Satay Celup together. The sauce was not quite tasty because (according to my aunty) we need to add more peanut to make it yummmmm....

Look at us! We were so happily enjoying our satay celup. FYI, I don't really remember why am I laughing that much.

Yes, camwhore! We were happily camwhoring, but her bf keeps disturbing.

Then I said " eh, we are Asian, so must have this peace sigh when we want to take photo"

While we were camwhoring, something happened! Everyone was shouting "fire! fire! fire!"

The lantern burned by itself, it was creepy!!! But the reason of moon cake festival is to burn the lantern as much as we can! This is someone else theory ( I don’t really remember who), but it is true. I like seeing lantern burn into dust. It is kinda insane, I know.

After the incident, we continue our camwhore journey without her bf. FINALLY... MUAHAHA...
Anyway, this is the peace sign again!

Then my sis wanted to try on herself, and this is the outcome.. Quite weird where her peace sign failed! It looks like a rabbit more than a peace sign. Seriously LOL

The worst part of this family gathering is that its rain in the middle of celebration, and we need to shift all the things inward and it messed up some of our plan. Our lantern got wet and I got cold later that. Too bad!! However, overall was great, and it will be another family gathering next month, I'm waiting for it...

I got fed up whenever I log in to Facebook nowadays, it simply just make my life miserable, and it is not as good as last time anymore. For those of you who have Facebook, you would have realized the new layout things running on your home page, and it simply just makes life miserable.

And the column doesn’t even work that well!!!

The right hand column is just waste of space for our home page, and it makes the page load very slowly, I mean like super slow!!!!!!!!!

And I ended up closing all the page including my YouTube, because of Facebook!!! I didn't managed to upload any single video up TODAY! *grin* Make my life miserable right now!!

Again! Why Facebook created such miserable column for us to be as miserable as it??? WTH!?

Oh my Smurfs, I finally got to try Happy Meal (my very first time), I’m so excited, and I get a SMURF!!!

Ting bought Happy Meal as well (In case you are wondering why there is 2 sets of Happy Meal). We bought it because WE LOVE SMURFS!!! We were so excited to took out them, and captured millions photo of them, Papa Potion and Gutsy Dancer!!

What The Smurfs! Gutsy is trying to promote Happy Meal burger! Mad Smurfs!

And Papa is pouring smurfs' potion in the chilli! Beware!

While we were smurfs here and there, the person sit besides laughed at us, and she was my coursemate. OH MY SMURFS! I'm so paiseh (embarass)!!!! But I still ignore her, and continue to play with smurfs happily.

Well, Jennifer and Viki didn't buy Happy Meal because they are way to hungry. Too bad! They didn't get any smurfs today. *wee*

After smurfs Happy Meal, they went for THE SMURFS movie, and concluded that it was a nice movie. I should watch it someday.

War ended peacefully (sort of), but some students still struggled to survive in the war, and I’m safe for the moment.

I should conclude that MMU registration day is the most suffer day of my entire life. I didn’t even feel suffered when I’m sick, but I did felt for today (the war). I hate you!!

Yo!

I’m back to blogging again.

I’d just come back from KL, and really enjoy my days at there. So miss my fellow uncles, aunties and cousins there. Oh my, it’s time to back to reality.

Alright, as I mentioned that I’m uploading a video of my friend birthday, but I’m in middle of giving up, so a blog post is enough to summarise it. And Yes! He is the August and Leo baby. We’d a small birthday celebration for him on the day before his birthday.

The planned goes well, as we play him off by saying we will having a badminton game at somewhere else. And he believed!

Before we headed to his house, we went night market to HUNT for food, and the outcome of letting boys to get the food was...

This much! We were so regret, and this is just part of it. 12 packs of fried mee for 8 or 9 persons. Oh my smurfs!! *addicted to the smurfs*

We are BIG eater har, but in the end there is leftover, so it has became Wang's breakfast and lunch for the following day.

We spot something in his house, salon moon. To be frank, I didn't even watch this cartoon when I'm young, and I don't really know what this cartoon all about. My childhood was full of boyish stuff such as ultraman, ninja turtle.... so no barney, salon moon or sesame street in my childhood time for sure.

The celebration ended quite smoothly, and he has taken revenge on those persons who push his head down in his cake yesterday.

Two days after his simple celebration, he invited us to his BIG and SHIOK birthday party at Boston, Melaka Raya.

I finally hit to the 500th post entry, and I should make it a memorable and special one (kind of).

Well, this is my 3rd year of blogging, (oklah, not exactly blogging like those people lah, I just write about my outing and others, so I still not a good blogger). I’m still not consider myself as blogger, and I don’t promote my blog well as my language is bad, and I feel ashamed to promote to my others friend (but I share in my facebook and twitter, so consider promoting?? LOL)

So, I was reviewing my previous blog entry just now, and I found that I always blog about birthday stuff, and mostly is on either April or August.

Let’s start the journey of reviewing all the photos and entry!

My very first entry was on my Birthday 17-12-2008.

The reason was ... I don't remember what is the reason I started a blog, and I've wrote it in My blog 1st anniversary entry.

2010

Through this post, I’ve try lots of thing first time in my life such as enter a blog contest and win a LG cookies phone from Nuffnang. To be frank, my luck wasn’t that good from last time, so this consider a very lucky gift for my entire life (emmm, maybe 2^nd, coz I win an iron when I’m 8 or 9 for drawing contest).

Besides that, I’ve try to go JYM with Tomo on 2009, and I was shock that there is no muscular man!

Oh yea! If you are constantly read on my blog, you'll notice that I've changed my blogskin like million times. This is because I've not satisfied with the previous blogskin. But now I'm satisfied with this, so I think I'll stick with this few months later. FEW MONTHS OK!!! MUAHAHA...

As I mentioned I've wrote more on birthday stuff like celebration, hang out... or something, and that's true! I've been reading back all the celebration, and I found that WE GROWN UP!!

So let's reviewing all the birthday celebration. First and foremost, is my cousin (sweet 16) and sister (21st) birthday celebration. Oh well, i'll be 21st on December this year. This is what sis celebrate her birthday 2 years back, did we changed?

Viki's 18th birthday celebration at Dataran Pahlwan! I still remember we played this after we had our dinner at Sakura House (which we usually went last time, and I should say NONO for now), and this was 2009.

Yo! Jennifer 20th birthday celebration, and the melted and sweet cheese cake for her birthday. And yes, that link will be the video for her birthday!! Teehee...

Do you still remember when i wrote a title of "funny ice breaking"?? Ok, I bet you don't so this is the link.

Honestly I almost forget about how funny we are in MMU corner. We'd played a stupid game where we need to name ourselves in any kind of FRUIT, and we need to measure our height as well, for example I'm 158cm and i'm a red apple, so if my friend height is around 160 then he or she need to find a type of fruit which is taller than me (the red apple). Basically it is funny, coz we need to introduce ourselves in PUBLIC!!!

The craziest game, and do you still remember tomo?

We, crazy people had never end our craziness. We went PICNIC in the morning.

And end up having our brunch at MCD! Too bad.

Besides that, family gathering never end always!!

Oh well, I bet you guys had heard before Friday by Rebecca Black, and some of you might had criticized on the how bad the song is. To be honest, I do criticize on the song, but her new album is great, I must say.

Ok, the point is even you’d criticized on her, she is popular than every one of us. Thus, some of them had actually done their version of Friday.

I found a hokkien version when I was reading on a blogger- jfook blog, and I found it so interesting, and decided to share it as well. According to Jfook, the person comes from Sarawak, and he really good in hokkien! The song is Bai Goh which means Friday in hokkien.

This was really funny..

And if you think that over, you're totally WRONG! I found another YouTuber who has done a CHINESE version of Friday. To be frank, it is much nice than the Hokkien version.

And surprisingly, the translate version done by these people has many nice comment than the original one. How sad Rebecca Black should be now.

Both of them has become very popular!

I was impressed by those guys who done this job! Though it is not so complete or I should say nice, but it is funny!!!!

3 L - Celebration week

This week is a celebration week, because I’d done lots of celebration for August babies. I love celebration where I can have many cake to eat, yes, it is my favourite part.

I’ve no regret on my life, I love my life always! Lydia super Love Life!!!

Well, the first celebration was Wang’s birthday where we gave him a surprise birthday on Wednesday. We supposed to celebrate it on Friday, but due to some minor problem, we changed our date, and some of our friend can’t join us, too bad.

His birthday cake from Yee's! The cake was yum, but I ate half of it coz..... (scroll down and you'll know it)

Next birthday celebration was on Freaky Friday, and the birthday baby was my sister, yes she is Baby Leo.

The plan goes very well. Her boyfriend and I had planned it (ok! He is the main planner, and I’m the helper) where I need to get the cake from Nadeje before she came back to Melaka.

I was rushing here and there to get this freaky yummilicious 12-different-flavour cake. We were so nervous in the house, and SURPRISE! She is so surprise (and pretends not to be so surprise)!

Happy birthday sister! Her birthday is on tomorrow, which means after 2 hours, she is officially 23! You're so old right now, sis. Stay pretty!

Celebration on Saturday night was Wang’s birthday party!!!

In the morning, we’d our breakfast together at the Hong Kong Dim Sum, Bukit Beruang, and after having our breakfast, we, tomo headed to MMU to do Wang’s birthday card. And we’d used “something” to glue on. Watch the video below, and you will get what I mean! *disgusting*

3 L stands for Lydia Love Life!

Last week was the busiest week I’ve throughout this semester coz 5 assignments due on Monday, and the distribution of work was given too late. Shin and I were rushing crazily this few days, and we were lacking of sleep for the whole week! That’s was awful.

Although it is a busy week for me, I still spent some times with JLS in Cha Time. I hope you still remember about JLS (do you?), if you don’t remember read this. And I realised that I named the muffin we ate as JLS production MUAHAHA...

We are in the tired mode, or I'm the only one who have a tired face! Too bad.

A better way to camwhore!

Well, JLS went out together at last, coz usually Shin wouldn’t want to leave her "castle" at least there is a special function like MY BIRTHDAY! I’m very important you know? *shameless*

I think she scare her “castle” will fly away or disappear or attacked by enemy, so she will not step out from her “castle” until her “castle” is safe. Coz she want to ~~protect~~ her “castle” anytime. *lame joke* so she wouldn’t goes out with us anytime. How sad is this!

Alright, end the freaking lame joke now. So,we supposed to hunt for something special that day, but end up chit chatting at Cha Time and Shi Ling for 2 hours! We almost forget the main reason we hang out together!!

We are too chatty, I guess.

So, let me introduce the drink we ordered in Cha Time.

This is mine. Their signature drink- Taiwan Milk Tea. The taste was not surprising. Basically it tastes like milk tea with pearl, nothing special. Oh yea, the reason we went there is because many bloggers has claimed that it is the best milk tea ever. =.=lll

There is joke behind this.

Jennifer was the joke! She ordered this because she want something purplely to match her, but after the drink was served, she asked why this grape fruit drink not purple one? Coz grape should be purple what! MUAHAHA... She thought that GRAPE FRUIT is same as GRAPE! This is so funny! I can't stop laughing at her when she was wondering why the drink was not in purple.

And shin is the most suey (unlucky) person among us, coz the guy ordered the wrong drink for her.

And we realised every cup of Cha Time has different mark on it. Mad cute.

We went for shopping after Shi Ling, and we successfully done our mission. Mission accomplished, you may go to the next round. (this is what I usually heard while my mom is playing game)

Next, weekly outing with my sis!

We went Nadeje for mille crepe and their newly "born" cake! We actually planned to go for lunch at Wa Zen, but this shop was closed ONLY for THIS Saturday. Oh shoot! We were so suey (unlucky) that day, so sis decided to bring me to Nadeje!

I'm a dessert freak!

This is their newly "born" coffee chocolate mousse cake. It's my favourite. I'm chocolate freak remember?

This is my favourite as well, strawberry mousee cake. It basically not as sweet as the chocolate coffee mousse! It is light and full of flavour!

Our saturday didn't end just like this because we planned to play Board Game!

The board game I found it in my house few weeks ago, and it was our childhood favourite memory- snakes and ladders

My sis and I used to play it when we were young, and that time we just used a pieces of board to play it. But now it was bigger and harder than last time!

Before start to play, camwhore at our room. Please ignore the person behind, coz he said I've a pair of freaking small eyes and hurt me after that. Just kidding! No, I mean he did said I've freking small eyes, but I didn't feel hurt. Teehee!!!

We end the game around 12.30am. It doesn't end actually, coz they keep changing the rule for like 3 times.

Tomo and I had planned to play it next time, so they should be planning on the rule right now, I guess!

Apparently I’m free now, and I just so unlucky that I fell down in my room and hurt my leg. *aww* that’s was hurt. Anyway, its weekends now, and it means REST TIME for me!

I’ve been rushing for my assignment throughout this week, and I’m half done. *clap for myself* Right now, I’m uploading another video which made by Jennifer and me via webcam.

We came out this idea beause we are the webcam freak, and we done it in the middle of the night which is quite creepy for this month (7th month in Chinese calender = hungry ghost festival).

New Pizza Cured Board game

I’ve been working really hard to finish up my midterm exam and assignment these few days, and yet there is still assignment need to be settled after this. It’s totally a workaholic weeks for me, and it’s suck for some reason. I need rest!!

By the way, it really works well, and it has CURED my sore throat and cough on the next day.

Today probably the surprise day of the entire week, because a brand new game is arrived at my house! I'm excited to play it .

My brother has bought this Board Game from his friend, and it is big (around 81cm x 81cm) for kids to play around. He planned to place it in his art center, and I planned to play it with tomo. *problem*

I think it will be fun to play with them. *emmmm* I think so! Coz the game was quite boring when I tried to play with my brother who is expect in cheating. =P

A trip to MMU Cyberjaya

Good morning everyone. It's time for the OL got to work!

As you can see is Monday blue again, and I got a terrible Monday today. *sigh* just forget about it.

But anyway, I should spent this morning meaningfully by writing an entry for my visit to MMU Cyberjaya. I been there last year which I'd blogged here, but I didn't manage to visit the entire campus.

Yes, basically it is much larger than Melaka campus, and their facilities is better than us as well. NOT FAIR! Why they got better facilities, better library, larger space and even taller building, and Melaka campus didn't get anything which is better than them.

Well, this is not the only thing I happy with today, I was happy today because my relative came back to my house, and we have some sort like “baking class” at my aunty place. The baking process was quite success, but the only bad thing is I didn’t manage to snap any photo for that because I didn’t bring my camera along, and my hand phone has no battery from yesterday until now.

The process was quite enjoyable and fun. I’ve given my cousin an assignment to learn and bake the cake for us when she comes back again the next time. Sound good right?

Anyway, I’ve done another video! So, let’s enjoy it.

Good afternoon everyone!

It’s Friday, baby! Everyone should relax and cheer for a moment, so to cheer all of you, I would like to introduce you guys a best place for all of you to cheer and have fun!

We planned to go there at 5pm, but Jennifer is one hour late. Thus, 6pm will be our dinner in BMC. We are the BMW- Big mouth women! MUAHAHAHA...

Ting's chocolate cream milk shake. When the waitress served this, everyone including me was impressed with the cream. *slurp*

Thank God I still remember the name, but the spelling wasn't quite right actually. To be able to write the name out, I keep repearting the name many times while we were doing a video.

Tip to gossip: Receive everything and digest it properly (which I don't often do)

We were doing something childish yet super fun "house renovation" game after we'd stopped gossiping for awhile.

And this is what the waitress had done, a bigger house for us! She inspired us the idea of doing a video for our dream house. One thing I love about this cafe is that their service was great! The waitress treated us well in that cafe, play game, fun joke and even take photo for us.

I'll definitely go there again!

Around 9pm, the cake finally arrived at the shop (everything is fresh there).

This is the best among what we order. The chocolate is thick enough (ok, I'm dead, because my sore throat got even worse after that), and there is a thin layer of sugar-like thingy. Sweet!

I prefer Nadeje mille crepe, coz it has thicker flavour than this.

Butter, bread pudding with vanilla ice-cream.

The combination of hot butte bread pudding and cold vanilla ice-cream was really delicious. I was shocked to eat it at the first time, but after a few spoons of bread pudding, I felt like I'm gonna stop eating this. In economic studies, it is known as diminishing return!

Camwhore in the shop while nobody know about it. MUAHAHA...

After I posted up in my Facebook, Jennifer started to ask me when I camwhore in that shop. *evil laugh* This is a SECRET!

We spent almost 5 hours in that cafe, and yet we feel not enough of time to gossip. Time is running so damn fast!!!!

This is our accountant who count every single money for us. We are poor student, so we always pay by ourself, and my calculator is great equipment for us to divide our money! *wee*

We spent almost RM 64 per day. It's worth it actually.

The price basically not so high and the environment there was quiet, so it suitable for a bunch of good friends to go there for high tea or dinner.

Midterm exam for Company Law in the afternoon and before that Jennifer made a call to say that SHE NEEDS HELP, because she has dropped her car key in the longkang (drain) and she needs somebody to help her!!

So I went down (I was at the venue of examination) to the car park, and get a guard to help her out. The guard was so kind to help us, but he left us doing the picking stuff =___=

However, in the end he helps us to pick up, so I can say he is KIND!

Saturday always be my happy day.

I went out with my sis, and since Sushi King has a great promotion, so three of us went there for our lunch.

But the food was quite disappointed, because the food was sooo COLD! Especially this tempura sushi, instead of HOT and CRISPY, it taste just like a overnight tempura prawn!

Mad yuck!

We went KTV, and I got a terrible sore throat after that. T___T

Dinner was my long-time-no-see KFC family set, and mom got what she always wanted to get, a free recycle bag from KFC!!

Oh mine! Sunday is coming back so soon, I hate it because we need to face monday blue again the next day.

I’m trying to act as if I learned lots of language, blow off! I’m NOT! I was just wondering what title I should named it, and this POP UP!!

My room was freaking dusty, so I decided to clean it up as I really hate dust a lot. There are small little things I found it super precious for me yet I didn't even realise at the past. Here goes some of my little
P.R.E.C.I.O.U.S!!!

I found many small little things that brought up my memories. While cleaning up the drawer, I took photo of these things to blog, and it tooks one hour for me to clean up the drawer as memories keep pop up whenever I cleaning up all those things. It was the memories from the past to the present.

Yes! I'm sure everyone has this bear accessories at their home. This was quite famous when I'm at age of 14 or 15, and everyone love to buy it for birthday gift.

Left was my birthday gift by my neighbour, and right is from my aunty (if not mistaken) .

This was given by my aunty when I'm in the primary. It was like this before she gave to us, so don't blame me making it dirty, please!

I love it, and don't use it often coz it is way too precious for me that time (propbably standard 4 or 5).

Birthday gift from Tomo!

Tomo gave me this when it was my sweet 16, and Ting brought it to my house when I'm still sleeping (opps). The day before they gave me this MEGA MUG, all of us has planned to go for a trip to Melaka (yes! I'm a Malaccan who never visit Melaka Red House before), and it was 2006.

We were so energetic to climb up the St. Paul Hill, and that was my first time to climb up there. It was really memorable.

Two old-school coin storage.

It was my primary 3 birthday gift, and yet to use it as well. If I use it, I need to break it to take out the money which is quite wasted! So, I kept until now.

Camp Fire souvenir

I was a PBSM (Persatuan Bulan Sabit Merah) members in my secondary school life, and I used to go to camp fire with bunch of PBSM members. And this is what some of them gave to us, I love it, coz it is unique.

As I said, I'm a PBSM members in my secondary, but I was just like a PBSM who like to join scout event. To be frank, I joined (not so often until form 4) scout event more than PBSM activity because the only activity PBSM done was on duty at sport day, marothon day...bla bla bla...

But scout is super different, I love the activity where we need to bake bread with charcoal. That's was really memorable. At the end of the activity, we didn't manage to bake a good bread, so we asked one of our friend to buy hot dog for us to BBQ, and took coconuts from the tree and drink it. seriously!!!!

It was given to me before she went to be a nun a month later. All of us was quite shock actually, but according to her, she willing to do it. This is her wish, so let her do it.

Thought now we didn't contact each other anymore (besides Facebook), I still keep all these letters nicely in my drawer. It was memorable when you check your post box and found some letter that is for you.

Basically, monday blue doesn't affect my mood, but exam does! I was studying for my exam due on 07-07-2011, so I only facing my notes for the whole day long . T__T

Still studying for my midterm test due on thursday, so nothing much I can do. However, I went to an AGM for CPC, and I'm one of the Exco members. The AGM was quite fun, and I love the club (more than Accounting club) anyway.

I bought a text book that cost RM70, WTH? It used up half of my monthly allowance (ok, now you can count how much I get from my monthly allowance =P), and wrap it as soon as possible.

Thursday was my advance management accounting midterm exam, I done some mistake on that paper that make me moody for few hours, but something brighten my mood which is blueberry and orange custard tart from my brother's student family.

Her mom gave these tart for us is because that day was her daughter birthday, and she made this just to celebrate her birthday. Yummilicious~

It looks like jam cheese tart, but nope, it is custard! I love indeed, hope mom will make some next time.

Friday was a shocking day, because my sis came back all in a sudden without giving a notice to me. This happened when I was ~~gossiping~~ chatting with Jennifer via skype. Both of them (with her boy friend) came in without any sound, then gave me a packet of famous amos cookies all of the sudden.

I got shock, but in the meantime I'm happy because I got to try Famous Amos chocolate chip cookies for the FIRST time! I didn't eat it before, because it is freaking expensive!!!!

The taste was quite disappointed. It tastes just like a normal homemade chocolate chip cookies, but anyway thank for the treat!

Saturday was a relax for some of them, but not for me, because I got to study another two midterm exam due on next Monday and Wednesday ( 11 and 13 of July). I was freaking busy these days, yet my sis asked me for KTV! T__T

Our dinner was treated by her boyfriend, because he got his first monthly pay on Friday! Oh yes, I was way too full with this amount of FOOD! *satisfied with the food*
Due to the fullness, I slept at 2.30am =__=

Sunday 10-07-2011

Sunday was a fun day, because I got to meet up with my besties. We decided to went for breakfast at 8am, but most of them got up late included me. I'm sorry.

We went Lao Di Fang Dim Sum at Bukit Beruang. Everyone was in a sleeping mood, and most of them went to the wrong place due to wrong information given. We went Jusco after this, and gossip for like 3 hours! I always feel not enough of time to ~~gossip~~ chat with them. We need like whole day just for gossip!

My favourite in Lao Ding Fang. I love their Cao Siew Bao so much, because it is so soft!!!!!!!!

My dinner of the day- Durian!

The durian was so yummilicious, and it is yellow in colour! OMG!!! I already starting to miss it.

I was so damn busy for the whole week, and for the next week as well. I'll update soon.

July is a hectic month

It's the ~~3rd day of~~ July!

July is a hectic month for a ~~not so hardworking~~ student like me, and my stressful pimples pop out everyday single day from now on. My schedule was full pack, everything need to be settle before my midterm holiday come which is on ~~holiday month~~ August.

Just look at my note book make me scare. My schedule is so damn full for the rest of the day. OMG! In case you haven't know that, this is just part of it, and it will be add in more items soon. I'm gonna be damn busy this whole month, but then I still able to fix sometimes for myself of coz.

July July July, why are you coming so fast? Time passed freaking damn fast right now, I’ve 2 month to go final exam, and yet to touch anything at all. I mean midterm is next week, and I didn’t even “touch” my book or note. I’m so lazy.

As I said I still manage to fix my time with movies. I watched 3 movies in two days, great time with my movies, I must say. I fixed my time with my sis to watch Transformer 3 and Harry Potter and the deathly holly part 1 yesterday, and I watched the Big Mama today alone, all thank to Jennifer who give me the Big Mama movie. It was freaking funny!!! By the way, I'm waiting for Harry potter and the deathly holly part 2 this month.

This month was the hectic yet movie month ever!

Before I end my entry, something I need to show off!

TADA! A home-designed Birthday card for my friend. A card which has been made in a rush, and I'm so lost while doing this card, coz not much colour papers are available in my house, and my friend is a person who love girly stuff. This was a tough one! But anyway, I do and give her on time. *wee*

Ma first attempt on Milo filling bun

Since my mom had abandoned the bread flour she bought few months ago (yes! It’s going to expire soon), as a daughter, I should fully utilize the bread flour as soon as possible.

So on Friday, I was in the middle of finding some information for my assignment, something had stop me from doing my assignment (bad case!), and yes, it is bread ingredient. I was looking at someone blog (many indeed), and some of the bread recipes attract me!

This is basically the inspiration for me to start my bread baking day!

I bake a Milo filling bun yesterday. I know it is weird when I said MILO FILLING, you can't buy any milo bun in any bakery shop except Lydia's homemade Milo filling bun.

This is the milo filling bun I bake yesterday. I was suppose to bake a hotdog bun, but there is no hotdog, so I substitute hotdog with ~~the only filling I have in my house~~ milo.

The recipe I get from website can bake 8 milo filling bun.

The texture was just like bread, but it simply not the same as what I always buy in the bakery shop. How sad! However, the milo filling turn out to be a good combination with the bread. It has some taste of milk and chocolate. I love it.

My mom, dad and brother said it is nice, but my aunty simply just don't like it coz it is too hard for her. She like those soft soft bun in the bakery shop.

PS: I'm gonna try it again the next time. I bake today, but the texture still the same. =.=lll
